Patricia Santamaria, Esq.

Patricia Santamaria understands the emotional and difficult process that can be involved in Immigration as well as in family law matters.

Ms. Santamaria attended California State University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development. While in undergrad she worked with at-risk youth and served as a Director at an afterschool program of over 300 elementary students grades 1st-5th grade.

Ms. Santamaria then attended Whittier Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate, graduating Cum Laude. She was a fellow with the Center for Children and Families and served as an Article Editor for Whittier’s Journal of Child & Family Advocacy.

After her first year at Whittier, Ms. Santamaria participated in a study abroad program accredited by the American Bar Association in Nanjing, China. While in Nanjing, Ms. Santamaria attended courses in Contemporary Problems in Family Law, International Adoption Law and California Child Custody practicum. Upon graduating from Whittier, she received the Center for Children’s Rights Certificate.

Prior to Law School Ms. Santamaria worked in a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive employment services to disadvantaged men, women, and teens from a variety of ages, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds and transitions, such as survivors of domestic violence, drug/alcohol recovery, veterans. Foster youth, and at-risk youth.

Patricia’s passion for helping others coupled with her personal experiences is what drove her to pursue a career in law.

Ms. Santamaria has experience in Family Law matters dealing with divorce and child custody.

Ms. Santamaria is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association and the Family Law section of the Orange County Bar Association.
