Prior to joining Santos Lloyd Law Firm, Fernanda is an immigration attorney with a strong commitment to guide her clients through the complexities of the immigration system. She represented immigrants in removal proceedings for years, litigating several cases to protect immigrants from the Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to deport them from the United States. She also represented clients seeking asylum and family-based adjustment of status before the USCIS.
Her experience working with vulnerable clients, often individuals suffering from mental health issues and victims of severe trauma provided her with a deeper understanding of the complex nuances within this field of law, and fostered her compassion and dedication to her clients.
Before relocating to the U.S., Fernanda worked for over five years as an attorney in prestigious Brazilian law firms, including Baker & McKenzie.
Outside of work, Fernanda enjoys traveling, swimming, hiking, skiing, and cooking.
